The Fireworks singer, who is in the country for her California Dreams tour, added: “It was for priors from over 10 years ago!”
Russell later tweeted pictures of himself, with the message: “Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick.”
He kept the jokes coming, tweeting: “Stockholm syndrome kicking in. Just asked my guard out for (vegetarian) sushi. He giggled” followed by “Alcatraz! Shawshank Redemption! And now this! Ah, sweet blue bird of freedom!”
Fox News reports that an immigration official in Tokyo refused to confirm the reports.
Katy reassured her fans that the show must go on, despite the “husband kidnappings”!
